Introduction:
During this 21-Day Prayer Intercessor Challenge, you want to inspire you to understand the essential reasons for being an intercessor. The act of arbitrating, intervening negotiating on someone’s behalf. It is a prayer, petition, or entreaty in favor of another. Now is the time to commit yourself to effective and productive prayer life. “Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving; meanwhile praying also for us, that God would open to us a door for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in chains, that I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak” Colossians 4:2-4 (NKJV). You should make prayer a daily practice, in order to survive in this toxic and wicked world. It’s key that you don’t allow your mind to wander, your faith waver, and your heart to weary, this will cause you feel that you didn’t cover all your needs. You must not allow guilt and a sense of falling short typically describe your prayer life.
Many people struggle with having an effective and productive prayer life. And, some see Him as a Heavenly Lifeguard when they are drowning in the affairs or concerns of this life, overcome by the wiles of the devil and succumb to the traps and snares of the evil forces of darkness they need Him to rescue them against all their daily circumstances. God has created us more than just for earthly desires and needs, we were created to worship Him in spirit and truth. Prayer is the responsibility of every Christian, God’s Word tells us to pray often, without ceasing and with purpose. If you’re like many believers, you do know the importance of prayer, because it’s hard to wrap your mind around such a powerful, invisible force: prayer. It’s challenging to prioritize time for something so intangible with results that demand waiting. Our hope is that this challenge is to empower and encourage you in being an effective, successful and vibrant intercessor for your family and friends, your co-workers and business partners, your church family and ministry as well as your enemies. He will challenge me to grow in ways that required emotional, mental and spiritual intention. God is asking His children to set more time aside for prayer, however, He will bring beautiful and simple tools into your life that have allowed you to find peace and even joy in prayer. In a gentle yet faithful and persistent way, you must allow God bring Colossians 4:2 alive in your life: “Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.”
