Week One - Introduction:

REVISION:
This 8-Week Faith Over Fear Challenge is to help empower and encourage you to continue to live on purpose and to walk by faith and not by sight you that you can remain fruitful and successful in your calling. This is the season when and where many believers will vaciliate and waver in their faith because of doubt and fear, but if we are going to remain victorious we must learn how to put all our confidence, hope, reassurance and trust in the Lord's hand. I'm encouraging everyone to join us in this 30 day faith journey as we put all our apphrehension, concerns, and uncertainities in God's control; because He knows all about our present and future. We will continue to live according to the Lord's preordained purpose for our lives. "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" Hebrews 11:1 (NKV).
The human propensity to fear, other than in healthy reverence to God’s character, is used by the enemy to distract us from the full life in Christ we are called to live. Faith is a powerful muscle, but it must be developed in tandem to our relationship with Christ. To have faith is to defy logic. It takes faith to think positively. It takes faith to believe that there is a loving God who cares deeply about our pain. To believe in life, the universe, or yourself after numerous failures is to have courage. Faith is an act of courage. It is choosing to get up in the morning and face our fears and believe that God will help us. Through His Holy Spirit living in us, we have the power to thwart fears that attempt to trip, badger, and harass us. Faith shields us from unhealthy fear. "For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible" Hebrews 11:2-3 (NKV).
Faith is choosing to believe that even though we may have failed one hundred times before that we can succeed the next time. Faith creates a barrier through which we can astutely filter fear, align it with God’s truth, and lay it at His feet. Developing faith that conquers fears takes daily discipline, constant prayer, knowledge of who God is, and recognizing who He says we are. Faith deals with unseen realities. Faith perceives as real fact, that which is not revealed to the senses yet!Faith is a tangible response to a spiritual reality. When you face difficult circumstances, do we let them strengthen or weaken your faith? This 6-Week Challenge is designed to help empower and encourage you this crisis with steadfast and immovable faith. "And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise, God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us" Hebrews 11:39-40 (NKV). You must learn how to confidentality wait on God with patience and perseverance in this season of testing our faith.
