Faith over Fear 8-Week Challenge: Sunday Inspiration

REVISION:

Mother’s Day Motivational:

Faith Gives us Hope in the Midst of Adversity:

Troubles point out our weaknesses and prompt us to rely on God in ways that we wouldn’t unless we had significant needs. Christ’s invitation to those who are weary becomes very attractive in the midst of trials: “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light” Matthew 11:28–30 (NKJV). Adversity is a classroom in which we can learn more of Christ and become more like Him. As we come to God with our needs, our inward prayer should echo these words of the Psalmist: “Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me” Psalm 25:1–2(NKJV).

Faith Gives us Hope in the Midst of Challenges:

he Bible says there will come a day when everything that can be shaken will be shaken, so “the things which cannot be shaken may remain”. Yes, we are now experiencing that shaking and shifting today, and it’s only just beginning. “Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear” Hebrews 12:27-28 (NKJV). When you take my eyes off my needs and focus on how awesome and powerful God is, my troubles disappear in His presence. In this season we must be confident that whatever problem you may be facing today, it pales in comparison to the majesty of your Heavenly Father. So make a choice to stop looking at the mountain or even pit you face and start looking at Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith. Stay focused on who He is and stand on His Word no matter what you see happening around you. Ask the Lord to give you a new perspective and show you who He truly is and what He is capable of doing during this season of hopelessness. Your Father is the Creator of the universe, and you are His workmanship, His child, and the love of His life, and He will never fail you nor leave you alone. Faith Gives us Hope in the Midst of Struggles:

Children of God, believers are supposed to rejoice in the midst of serious and painful suffering. Believers are to rejoice in the peace and rest that come from the knowledge that through Jesus Christ, we have been forgiven and can enjoy a right relationship with God, which gives us unspeakable joy, everlasting hope, and immeasurable peace all come from relationship with God, they do not come from circumstances. As we align ourselves with God and His holy character, we build character and endurance on His hope. Yet, we rely on our Heavenly Father to provide for us in time of need, we walk in gratitude for God’s mercy and provision and focus on the hope we have in Christ Jesus. For, we are the salt and light to those who have no hope; so that our HeavenlyFather will be glorified.“ Through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us” Romans 5:2-5 (NKJV).

Faith Gives us Hope in the Midst of Trials and Tribulations:

Tribulations are the trials we are required to go through in this life to fulfill a higher purpose for the Kingdom. Our trials and tribulations helps us to learn how to persevere, so that we can develop character, integrity, honesty and courage in the midst of the storm. Through all this, we learn to choose the high road when it would be easy to get discouraged, feel hopeless and ultimately give up. God says we are not to be hopeless, because we know the truth of the Kingdom of God. He tells us that all our struggles in this human life do not compare to that glory. “He gives power to the weak,And to those who have no might He increases strength.Even the youths shall faint and be weary,And the young men shall utterly fall,But those who wait on the Lord. Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint ” Isaiah 40:29-31 (NKJV).

Hope is something that we have to grow in, and it is related to the future and the ultimate plan God has for our lives.
