Closing Week:
Thanks for joining us in our 8-Week Faith over Fear Challenge which was designed to help you get closer and more personal relationship with the Lord. It was also designed to help those who are looking for more growth and direction in your personal walk with God. It was to remain us to have faith over fear requires a in-depth and wholehearted relationship with Jesus that is always willing to grow in steadfast faith. Believers must understand that we need more intimate and personal relationship, reognizing that when Jesus is present, darkness cannot remain. Since, many Christians acknowledge that everyone will experience fear on this journey called life. However, there isn’t a single person who hasn’t experienced fear, because in this life we will have trials and tribuluatio. Nevertheless, we must continue to be overcomers, knowingn that sometimes even dedicated believers will find their lives being dramatically shaped by the spirit of fear. Jesus wants and willing carry all our burdens, even in the darkness of hours. But God can only claim fear in our lives when we look for His guidance, which means we must continually seek Him to help us rid whatever fear we face during this season of testing our faith. Fear holds us back and robs us from being the person Christ died for, the person God created us to be. Fear imprisons us and wants us to be held captive. God wants to release us and free us to live in His light, love, and truth.Fear lies to us and tells us it’s better to be afraid. But God extends His arms and says, “Trust me. I will be with you and I will lead you through whatever you face.” “No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it” 1 Corinthians 10:13 (NKJV).
This Faith over Fear started off just to empower and encourage others of like faith to continue to run the race with endurance and strength during this season that is testing our faith therometer. It was our hope and prayer that you had great results in this 8-Week Challenge started on May 4th. Due to high demand by someone of our Women of Excellence Network Groups, we elected to extend the challenge for another two weeks which ends today, June 26th. Because, fear is something that can paralyze even the bravest of souls. It is that feeling inside of you that causes you to sometimes doubt good decisions, neglect to follow through on commitments and even become physically ill. This challenge was to help you not to continue to be emotionally and mentally paralyze by fear, but to walk in victory in Jesus. This is the place and time when one must acknowledge that faith over fear is a choice, and later it becomes a lifestyle. God offers us to walk in His power, strength, and love every single day. We simply must follow and abide, since we all face fear in our lives, but only God’s light is what helps us live resiliently and free. The designated goal and purpose key focus was to build steadfast and unshakable faith, so that you can withstand today’s adversities, challenges, oppositions, struggles, trials and tribulations. This is the time you must learn how about the truth that God is bigger than anything you encounter shake your faith. Then you have to live out that truth, that God is BIGGER, you can in victory. I hope and pray that this challenge helped you understand that fear creates a barrier between us and God, because it robs us of the Fruit of the Spirit. During these challenging times we need the Lord guide and lead us through both seen and unseen dangers. However, if fear is something you really want to tackle, this challenge should've provoke and motivated you to live on purpse. This was a free challenge which was simply a step into the discussion on having faith over fear. However, it was great spiritual tool to help you maintain joy, love and peace during these trying days ahead. And, help you maintain and sustain your faith, if you are really looking for transformation you need to go deeper in the things of the Lord. In this season you can't allow or let fear cripple you, but trust the Lord to give you the power to overcome fear. “For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar. As it is written:“That You may be justified in Your words,And may overcome when You are judged” Romans 3:3-4 (NKJV).
“Now He who has prepared us for this very thing is God, who also has given us the Spirit as a guarantee. So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord. Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences” 2 Corinthians 5:5-11 (NKJV).
