Day 3– Living Hopeful in Your Purpose Helps to Advance the Kingdom of God - Part Two

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time” 1 Peter 1:3-5 (NKJV).

The believer’s living hope is solid and secure: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain. Hope is a vision of things meant to be, the promise of things to be, and the finding of our purpose in that concept. It is humbling to realize that God seeks to edify, to teach and to encourage humankind, in order that His purpose in our lives can be fulfilled. Edifying can be defined as to instruct someone in a way that enlightens them or uplifts them morally, spiritually, or intellectually. How emboldened we feel for tomorrow when we embrace this truism. Jesus has entered there on our behalf as a forerunner, because he has become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek”. Jesus Christ is our Savior, our salvation, our Living Hope. “This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters the Presence behind the veil, where the forerunner has entered for us, even Jesus, having become High Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek” Hebrews 6:19–20 (NKJV).

Whatever a person’s status here on earth, we all have the same basic need: to find peace with God, our creator. It is through that relationship that we find purpose and meaning in this life and security in the world to come. With hope, we are energized mentally, physically, and spiritually. The strength is indescribable. The difference between being hopeful and feeling hopeless is akin to a day and night, light and darkness, or joy and sorrow.God planted the seed of hope in us. Let me not put out the flame, but rather, through truth and enlightenment, fan it into a brazening banner of Hope that leads us to fulfilling the purpose that God has placed us on this earth to accomplish. If the presence of hope in your life is very dim and you see little purpose or have no direction in your life, and yet you are still seeking something to transform your thinking, allow God to come into your life and give you hope. Let him help you be the hope to your family and friends. Let him make your life different. He will give you life and give it more abundantly, all you need to do is start trusting Him. “For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place. Since you were precious in My sight, You have been honored, And I have loved you; Therefore I will give men for you, And people for your life. Fear not, for I am with you; I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west” Isaiah 43:3-5 (NKJV).

Another word for hope is Jesus. He is the hope of the world. You may be thinking that this sounds good, but where do I get that hope in the first place? Can I earn it? Can I buy it? Where? Where? There is a great dependable source of Hope: Jesus is our answer to finding hope and purpose during the life challenges and struggles. It is worth your every effort to find truth in Jesus Christ, unite with a group of believers and make time to learn of Him and His promises. He promises that we can have hope and purpose and know the deep-seated joy of belonging to God through a relationship with Jesus. He is our answer to finding hope and purpose in our journey. When our burdens, our cares, and our concerns about life after death are all satisfied, we can devote our time and efforts to serving the one we know , the one who gives us a promise of eternal hope, as well as the strength to live a life here on earth filled with hope and purpose.

“I, even I, am the Lord, And besides Me there is no savior. I have declared and saved, I have proclaimed, And there was no foreign god among you; Therefore you are My witnesses,” Says the Lord, “that I am God. Indeed before the day was, I am He; And there is no one who can deliver out of My hand; I work, and who will reverse it?” Isaiah 43:11-13 (NKJV).
