God Is Preparing You for a New Season -Day 5:

God Is Preparing You for a New Season:

Never forget that you will have to experience different seasons in your faith walk. Sometimes your walk with God will be awesome, and sometimes you will go through trials and tribulations. We must remain grounded in the word of God, especially when we are moving from one season to another. Things may get confusing, so we need to stay focused and not lose track of where God is leading us. Because this new move or season can be a seed coming up from the ground and slowly sprouting into a great new beginning, which can be a picture that emerges from the process of wonderful spiritual growth. A new heart and a new spirit, which means a new beginning for us. begin our spiritual to do list, like reading the Bible and praying every day, using our gifts and talents in God’s service, to be more loving, Christ-like, and obedient to God’s word. Why not turn toward Christ and let Him make you into a new creation? That newness brings LIFE. Spiritual growth and connection with the Lord are some of the most significant indicators of venturing into a new season. He does not desire for us to remain as babies spiritually.“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God” Romans 12:1-2 (NKJV).

The only problem is that while we resolve to do these things, our resolve dissipates because we really don’t have the power within us to keep them, and what is also brought up in our passage, and that is our not dealing with our sin according to God’s word. It can feel confusing at first, but it quickly becomes very exciting as you start seeing new possibilities. Rituals do not cleanse us; rather it’s the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us upon the cross that cleanses us from sin. And the writer of Hebrews tells us that this is the new and living way. This is a beautiful picture of what God has done for us. He calls us, cleanses us, and puts within us the Holy Spirit Each new season requires us to grow in the Lord, just as babies begin on milk and grow as much as they can on milk to then require solid food for more growth, so are we spiritually. We are not meant to remain in the place of milk and milk alone, for we were made to grow into those higher levels. If God is calling you into a new season, it can feel like you are stepping up to that higher level. Just remember that may come with a deeper understanding of Scripture and stronger relationship with the Father. “Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious” 1 Peter 2:1-3 (NKJV).

It is because the Christian life is a journey with so many stages. Remember that the enemy is very cunning; he may try to sabotage your destiny by filling your mind with wrong thoughts. You need to be very careful about the voice that you are listening to. The word of God will help you to differentiate your voice from the voice of God and the enemy. We have to go through different things in life as God prepares us for what awaits us in eternity. Besides, even unbelievers go through different stages in life, so we can say that life, in general, comes in seasons. As we grow spiritually, we come into the “ginosko” way of relationship with our Creator, which is beautifully marked as we embark on the path, He leads us on. This is a great joy, a great honor, and truly what you were called and made to do as a follower of Christ. “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them” Ephesians 2:8-10 (NKJV).
